I was asked by the global board of 60 layers of cake international to start a South African office based on their collaborative communication model. We started the agency in March 2010 and got it profitable within 6 months of opening with large account wins such as Coca-Cola, ManRoland Southern Africa and The Body Shop. Joining The Jupiter Drawing Room in 2006 I was tasked with streamlining their operations. Having just won the Sanlam account and shortly after the Woolworths and Windhoek beer accounts the agency had to almost triple it’s delivery of high quality productions overnight. I established the ISO certified and fully automated production department which has revolutionised the South African production industry to global ISO standards, growing the total billing of my departments with double digits year on year.Responsibilities included:- Managing the following departments; Traffic, IT, Art Work services, Presentation Services, Photo studio, Radio & TV, Print, Fast track studio, DTP, Black River FC production, Repro & retouching.- Member of the BBBEE workgroup.

This group of companies specialised in delivering complex production services for global agencies through a cost efficient resource model and maximising economies of scale. My responsibilities ranged from all global productions to account management and new business for the European market.
