I always try to think from the customers’ perspective and have a very sharp look at the quality of work my team delivers.Since 2022 I'm the Team Lead of a specialized team that makes custom solutions and additions to Exact ERP, Finance, CRM and HRM solutions. Before this I worked as senior software engineer in this team. Before 2009 I worked as team leader at Exact of a development team that worked on an ERP, CRM and HRM solution for the Dutch construction industry. Our custom solution team makes small to mid-sized customizations for the Mid-market products of Exact. By making these customizations we help our customers getting the most out of our software. Our customers are active in all kinds of branches: Manufacturing industry, consulting and professional services, financial institutions, construction industry, wholesale, retail, etc. The customizations are very diverse and include adjustments to the CRM, HRM, PSA, Field service, Financial and Logistic processes of our mid-market products. The mid-market products have a wide range of technology stacks, which include Win32 native, .Net, Web based, Mobile, and Microsoft SQL server. In my role as Team Lead, I'm involved in the complete software development process, from helping pre-sales and sales closing the deal, business analysis, estimating the costs and planning to development, delivery and after care. Beside software engineering, I work with business analysts on solution concepts and make the functional designs of the customizations. I also work as technical consultant and give technical trainings to our partners and customer on the API and SDK solutions Exact offers on our products.My role as Team lead has it all: the commercial, the people, the technical and the functional aspect of software development.My specialties include: Functional design, Software engineering, Troubleshooting and fixing complex software systems, System integration and connectivity.Next to my work I enjoy art (making and watching), nature and learning languages.
