Each project was located partially or entirely within a high quality / exceptional value designated watershed.Ameren MGP Site, Quincy, IL - The 2-acre former manufactured gas plant (MGP) was to undergo remediation to address the recognized environmental conditions associated with gas production. An antiquated, yet operational 96"Wx 84"H limestone arched combined sewer ran through the site. A system was designed in collaboration using phasing, pumps, and slide rail shoring to allow for the removal of the arch and nearby soil concurrent with the installation of a replacement 96" concrete pipe. Phased grading and erosion control measures were used to prevent stormwater runoff from contamination and entry into the storm system.

This project included the preparation of an extensive Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP). The city of Moreno Valley has a reputation for being the most difficult city in Southern California from which to attain WQMP approval. Our WQMP was approved in record time. Consequently, the city has recommended our services to developers needing a WQMP. Calimesa - A 3.8-acre commercial site for Watson & Associates in Unincorporated Riverside County, California. This project includes a Caltrans Interstate-10 realignment and a 1150-acre off-site drainage study.
