About Marcus Leite
In all my 15+ years of career I have worked with technology, research and innovation. My career driver has always been innovation, whether as a developer or innovation project manager, whether in startups or multinationals. In the most recent period at Sebrae-SP, I have structured complex innovation projects. Also, I have been actively involved in the planning of projects for the innovation team and in structuring projects aimed at the demands of scientific and tech startups.During the pandemic, I helped to structure the first public credit program with fintechs and acquirers ("Retomada" Credit Program). Shortly before, in my Master's Degree in Innovation Management, I studied how public funding for innovation in the software sector in Brazil took place.I was also coordinator of Open Innovation at Samsung, having worked in the strategic planning of projects in partnership with universities, establishing and managing several research projects in the areas of computing.--- What else you may want to know about me?• Diverse international experience: I spent 2 months in Israel working for a (local) startup there, and more than 3 months in South Korea, working on the first Android phones for the Latin-American market. Besides, I traveled on business to Argentina, China, and Japan (where I presented a publication).• Yes, I do graduated in computer science and worked on the first Androids developed in Brazil. However, I left that programmer life behind.• Cachaça, coffee, comics, and some weird music: a good conversation inevitably ends up going through these matters
