Manages all activities associated with the construction of assigned projects. Ensures all contractual obligations and terms of assigned projects are maintained. Ensures assigned projects meet cost requirements. Reviews plans and proposals to determine proper procedures in order to accomplish project, department & company goals. Interfaces with necessary departments to determine the scheduling of materials and work. Prepares reports for management. Meets with key personnel to ensure timeliness of project.Meets with customers, subcontractors and vendors to indentify potential barriers with resolutions that maximizes production and minimizes cost. Visits jobsites as required. Meets and confers with the Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, Erectors, etc. as necessary to ensure all aspects of assigned projects are properly and thoroughly documented to insure Schuff Steel's interests are protected and the project stays on schedule and under budget.

Currently I am the Division 5 Consultant, Project Manager and Superintendent on the Music City Center in Nashville, TN. The project is a 415 million dollar project and is located downtown adjacent the Bridgestone Arena and the Omni Hotel also currently under construction. The Music City Center will serve as Nashville's premier convention and meeting center featuring over 350,000 square feet (more than 8 acres) of exhibition hall space and over 100,000 square feet of meeting room and ballroom space (including a 17,900 square foot Jr. Ballroom and 57,500 square foot Main Ballroom). The building's skin consists primarily of brick, metal panel and curtain wall facades with limestone veneer cladding the prominent northeastern corner. The green roof, which is a major component of the building's LEED Silver goal, is over 175,000 square feet. Other LEED credits are being obtained through the construction of a 360,000 gallon rainwater collection tank and the use of low VOC, recycled and regional materials. The building's interior finishes are highlighted with over 80,000 yards of woven carpet, 40,000 square feet of wood veneer panels and over 100,000 square feet of wall and ceiling wood veneer metal panel systems. The project also includes over 900,000 square feet of below grade and covered parking.

Division 5 Project Manager and Superintendent (415 Million Dollar Project)Assists and Contributes in the procurement of Division 5 trades, including development of bid packages, proposal review and scopes of work.In charge of reviewing contract documents, Division 5 shop drawings, RFI’s, and ASI’s.Review and approval of change orders through materials and quantity take offs, quantity verification, and change order proposals.
