Above and beyond producing clean and correct code, I believe in and strongly emphasize creating user interfaces that simplify the tasks people want to accomplish and getting real value into the hands of users faster through continuous delivery practices. My personal mantra is that if others cannot effectively use my software, then I have not succeeded as a software engineer.I have extensive experience developing software for both Windows and Linux using C++, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python. I have traditionally been a full-stack developer working on anything from frontend user interfaces for both web and native desktop clients; backend services and other backends-for-frontends exposed over REST interfaces; distributed processing systems for both batch and streaming data scenarios; high-performance computing applications using GPUs; systems-level integrations; and provisioning and configuring resources for both cloud and on-premises environments via infrastructure as code.
