The agBOT Challenge is an international competition to create autonomous robots capable of performing agricultural tasks. Teams from around the world compete to develop new technologies, showcased over two days of competitions. We retrofitted Yamaha ATV into an autonomous robot which can remove unwanted weed and also spray herbicide on plants. Neural networks were designed such that it can differentiate between plant and weed.Our team participated in 4th annual international Agbot competition 2019 and secured 1st runner-up position.Under the guidance of Dr. Sohel Anwar and Dr. Tovar.

• Managed the class of 90 students and designed HW, class tests for ENGR 29700 (Engineering tools: MATLAB).• Tailored teaching activities, engaging them in learning, supporting their emotional development, and guide each student’s progress.• Assisted to help students learn MATLAB programming concepts and keeping track of each student’s progress with 94% as an average class result.

• Co-ordinated with multiple teams for DFA/M of tie-rod, steering rack, and pinion mechanism considering GD&T for manufacturability and mechanical Integrity and scheduled planning and testing of the system.• Develop simulations, Perform Model/Software/Hardware in the Loop testing, and Conduct vehicle tests• Write performance and test specifications to tune/validate designs/applications• Analyze hardware and software designs for potential failure modes• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and drive resolution of reported problems and malfunctions• Finite Elemental Analysis to revise the model for optimum performance &manufacturability and designed upright 15% lighter and used knowledge of 4-cycle engines that are compliant to all regulations for power and efficiency of the system.• Organized and read raw data used in calculations and design considerations.• Estimated costs and following a budget to minimize cost and maximize part quality.• Provide strategy and worked closely with the Publicity team to raise the funding for an upcoming competition
