I’ve always liked puzzles. Doesn’t matter what kind, but my favorite has always been trying to figure out why people do what they do. Why choose one product over another? Why go on a vacation then and not later? Why didn’t a user stay on a site longer? Every industry has puzzles and I want to solve themAt school, I focused on communications and anthropology. At work I focused on learning about our products and more often than not my coworkers would ask me for help in finding a fine wine, craft beer, or exceptional whiskey for our customers. In contrast to when I started out I knew next to nothing about such topics.And often that’s the case for me. Both as a student and an employee. I might start off knowing nothing but I like to learn and I have a fantastic memory. The more knowledge I gain the stronger I get. Able to instantly recall similar scenarios to the problem at hand. And even if the problem is completely new I’m one to be paralyzed. I’m able to come up with new solutions using my knowledge base. Outside of work I dearly love my friends and family and I’m always trying to come up with something we can do together. It could be anything from organizing a Secret Santa or trying to convince a bunch of them to go white water rafting.
