I am a meticulous and results-driven social sciences professional who is excited by opportunities that enable me to contribute to the global push to ‘leave no one behind’ by ensuring the availability of quality interdisciplinary data that that provide evidence for informed decision-making. I have over 15 years’ experience working in demographic, health and poverty dynamics research in Africa, with a combination of longitudinal and cross-sectional data auditing and analytical skills (using SAS, Stata and Nesstar). I hold a Master of Public Health degree in Biostatistics & Environmental and Occupational health from Emory University, USA and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University, USA. My research interests are in the following areas: longitudinal data auditing and analysis, categorical data auditing and analysis, survival data analysis and longitudinal socio-economic and health outcomes. My research work has also involved the project management of the longitudinal Nairobi Urban Health and Demographic Surveillance System in Nairobi, Kenya and collaboration on several other research projects and peer-reviewed publications and reports. Currently, I am a PhD fellow at the University of Edinburgh and I am examining how reproductive careers (including current pregnancy status, the number of prior pregnancies and births and obstetric complications) modify the risk of multimorbidity among women in sub-Saharan Africa.
