This involved visiting the stations regularly to perform maintenance and ensure they were functioning optimally. I also monitored the data from the stations to identify any anomalies or issues that required attention.Working with TAHMO was a rewarding experience, as it allowed me to be part of a team that is making a positive impact on the lives of people in Africa.     During my internship at Kengen, I had the privilege of being attached to both the Instruments and Electrical departments. In the Electrical department, I was responsible for maintaining electrical systems such as turbine-generators, battery chargers, UPS, electrical motors, switch gears, protective relays, transformers, and standby lead-acid batteries. This experience gave me valuable hands-on knowledge in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of power systems.In the Instruments department, I was involved in general maintenance of sensors, with a primary focus on calibration. I worked on various instruments such as Temperature Instrument Calibrator, Pressure Gauge Calibrator, Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge, PH measuring Instrument, seal pit level transmitter, Magnetic Level Switch, Liquid level transmitter, resistant temperature detector used as flow switch, Hydrogen sulphide detector, and Pneumatic valve positional relay, and HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer). Through this experience, I developed a keen eye for detail and the importance of accuracy in measurements.Overall, my internship at Kengen provided me with a well-rounded understanding of electrical and instrumentation engineering.
