As the Project/Data Centre Manager, designed, implemented and managed two tier 4 data centers for the telecom operations in Kenya.Designed, Deployed and managed two telecom grade data centers worth USD$234,000,000. In addition being the fastest fully Telco data centers incorporated a fully equipped IT infrastructure. Initiated the utilization of excess capacity to generate revenue for the data centers t moving the IT infrastructure department from being a cost center to becoming a revenue center.Virtualized the data center services to create a more environmental friendly Data Centre. This achieved a reduction of power consumption by more than 30% and provided resources to utilize for a new enterprise business stream.
