I support the logistical and production teams by procuring specialty parts and componets needed for customer orders in assembly on an as needed, 6-12 month anticipated or emergency breakdown basis. Along with this, I work directly with vendors to establish yearly product pricing and resolve quality related issues regarding parts ordered under purchase orders, POs, that arrive to us damaged or made incorrectly. I also work with SEW engineering and QC personnel to ensure the components we are buying from machine shops or outside suppliers match SEW's required tech specs or blue prints for the part.
