• Provide information regarding colorectal cancer and screening at bi-weekly Baltimore Farmer's Markets• Recruit low income men and women at the Farmer's Markets to enroll in the CDC-funded CRC screening program• Develop activities and materials that will assist in the recruitment of individuals at the farmer's markets• Design, implement and evaluate at multiple culturally sensitive, spiritually-based education programs to increase awareness and screening for CRC through outreach to African American faith-based institutions in Baltimore City • Recruit low income men and women at the faith based institutions to enroll in the CDC-funded CRC screening program• Maintain records of enrollees and follow-up regarding colonoscopy screening

• Conducted interviews for research study participants in the Healthy Bodies, Healthy Souls Project, which aims to prevent diabetes within African American churchgoers through nutrition and physical activity• Assisted with and evaluated weekly nutrition interventions within local Baltimore church• Innovated new ideas for nutrition and physical activity intervention design within larger cohort churches with membership of 500 to over 1000 persons• Completed database creation and maintenance for baseline and post-intervention data
