My tasks at SDU Life Cycle Engineering included a combination of external projects, teaching and administration.My external projects in recent years have been related to Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Carbon Footprint, the EU initiative Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), the EU directive on Ecodesign and the EU regulation on energy labelling, eco-labels.

Contribution to the project TOPWASTE. The overall objective of TOPWASTE was to optimise the management of household waste, by increasing recycling of materials as well as utilising the energy content of the residual waste. Economic and environmental aspects were taken into consideration. My task was to establish the foundation for the Excel based Carbon.

The tasks as consultant at the Institute for Product Development mainly included LCA projects; textiles, reuse & recycling of wine bottles, recycling of plastics, and packaging for milk. The projects were mainly conducted for the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and private companies.Furthermore, I was involved in the development of the Danish LCA.

Mainly life cycle assessments; packaging for beer and soft drinks for the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and a few smaller projects for private companies.
