Restructured clinical and IT systems, including installation of via oncology pathways.• PCMH model led directly to a unique payment-reform project - in conjunction with BCBS of TN - that simultaneously improved quality, cut costs, and increased the bottom line.Personally designed and built a new computer system for PCMH that simplified restructuring and control of at all clinical locations.• Built New Infrastructure: Achieved Medicare prerequisites so TNO can apply to Medicare / CMS for OCM funding.

Developed the world’s first 3D imaging system for aortic aneurysms. Turned around a “diabolical mess” via data driven application of ISO, and Lean Six Sigma. Achieved 50% operating margins and 80% market share. Led 50-person team and grew annual revenue to $20M.Recruited by the company founder to turn around a potentially great business that was struggling with multiple problems. Transformed M2S operations, fixed the company’s root problems, and leveraged its top asset – a unique image processing system that earned huge clinical support with little competition. SUMMARY: Solved M2S problems in 3 key areas – production, CMS reimbursement, and FDA issues. INNOVATIONS AND FINANCIAL RESULTS: Achieved 80% market share over 4 years and sold M2S to affiliates of AIG and Pfizer for over 70% IRR. Signed distribution deals with top industry partners.ESTABLISHED AGGRESSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMS: Set up courses in quality and operations including ISO and Lean Six Sigma (Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth); 3D imaging technologist program; FDA / GCP/ GMP; statistics, clinical trials, and medical registries; and extensive IT training.MOVED PRODUCT TO INTERNET,: Slashed turnaround from 2 weeks to 1 hour while improving quality.
