U.S. Concrete is a publicly traded producer of concrete, aggregates and related concrete products to all segments of the construction industry. Mr. Harlan served as Executive VP and COO of U.S. Concrete, Inc. from April 2013 until May 2007 and CFO from May 1999 until November 2004. Mr. Harlan served as a Director of U.S. Concrete, Inc. from June 2006 until August 2011. In addition, Mr. Harlan has served on the Board of Directors of Waste Connections, Inc. (NYSE: WCN), a publicly traded solid waste management firm, where he is the lead independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee since its founding in 1997. Mr. Harlan served on the Board of Directors of Travis Trailer and Body, Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of specialized trailers from August 2013 until the sale of Travis to a strategic acquirer in September 2016. Mr. Harlan also served on the Board of Directors of Yulong Eco-Materials Limited (NASDAQ: YECO), a publicly-held manufacturer of building products in China from July 2015 until February 2017. Prior to founding U.S. Concrete, Mr. Harlan held several senior financial officer positions with public companies, including chief financial officer, treasurer and controller. Mr. Harlan began his career with an international public accounting firm.
