Provides jewelry supplies to jewelry designers and the serious jewelry hobbyist. Had annual retail sales of up to a quarter of a million dollars. Responsible for day to day operations and all financial accounting and reporting.

Along with the facility CEO presented the annual operating budget of 55 million dollars to the corporate office for approval.Worked with all department mangers regarding operational performance and improvements.

Developed and implemented standardized financial systems and policies for over 1000 practices owned by Tenet Healthcare.Assisted MSO, CFO’s and financial staff, in implementing those systems with on site support.Provided decision support, for upper management, through the use of report writers and analysis.Worked on the acquisition of 80 Physician practices from the Allegheny Health System located in Philadelphia PA.Worked on the divestiture of over 1000 physician practices when Tenet Physician Services was divested.Involved with divestiture of Lloyd Noland Hospital in Birmingham Alabama as the temporary on site CFO for eight months.Acted as Interim Controller for two months at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, GA.Assisted the Director of the Corporate Capital and Property Accounting Department with corporate consolidations and facility review of property plant and equipment records for five months.

Controller at RHD, a large urban medical center (323 beds) in Dallas, TX. Responsible for General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Payroll. Reconstructed capitalized lease financial records for the facility, improved internal controls, and enhanced reporting through the use of system report writers, as well as other financial operations duties. Reconstructed student nurses student loan program, assisted business office manager with account receivable management, worked with utilization review, as well as other financial operations duties. One of few facilities that tested the OS2 PC operating system for use with the Innovate Budget System. Assisted and reported to the CFO of the hospital. (4 years)

CFO of Cherokee Memorial Hospital (123 beds) a small rural hospital in Gaffney, SC. Rebuilt the Hill Burton logs. Responsible for the financial operations of the entire facility including General Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Materials Management. Involved with the divestiture of the hospital upon completion of the building of the new facility. Reported to the CEO of the hospital. (2.9 years)

Controller Trainee Palms of Pasadena Hospital (307 beds) in St. Petersburg, FL. Completed Controller Trainee program, which was a review of every department in the hospital. Reviewed Blue Cross Audit settlement and was able to reduce settlement from $800,000 to $150,000. Responsible for operating the new PC based Innovate Budget System for the hospital. Trained newly acquired hospital CFOs on Innovate Budget System for the corporate office. Traveled to each new facility for the training. Reported to CFO of the hospital. (1.8 years)
