CurrentManage the District’s tickets (“fare media”) program for SamTrans and Caltrain, including developing ticket vendor printing contracts and addressing issues; drafting of budgets based on current inventory and usage, past order history, forecasting changes and current/future pricing; purchasing, controlling, testing, distributing and reconciling inventory; communicating with District operations teams to ensure acceptance; and administering the SamTrans refund process.Manage Caltrain’s $10.7 million+ revenue-generating Go Pass program, through identifying new corporate customers and negotiating contracts, fare media distribution, business services such as invoicing, reviewing and tracking contract requirements, developing communications to market the program to external audiences and to keep current participants informed; and SamTrans group sales program through identifying new customers, processing requests, surveying external customers for feedback and communicating with internal customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.Manage the SamTrans/Caltrain consignee network generating $2.7 million+ in revenue, through identifying new providers and negotiating fare media contracts, providing business services such as fare media distribution, account reconciliation and financial evaluations of performance and building relationships through communication and in-person visits. Lead and coordinate teams for special projects including fare increases, service changes, farebox implementation, codified tariff changes and special promotions such as the Summer Youth Pass and San Mateo County Fair ensuring that tasks are handled in a timely, accurate manner.Create, maintain and distribute sales reports and notify team members of any trends. Utilize specialized in-house systems to generate reports and program Ticket Vending MachinesGuide and assist staff with writing procedures, recommending process improvements and training staff as necessary.
