As Senior Director of Destination Experience, I work with a team of individuals who are passionate about showing the best of Columbus to our residents and visitors. I work with our community partners and businesses to create experiences that show all our city has to offer whether you live here, or are visiting for business or leisure.Curating and managing our experiential trails is a perfect union of creating fun experiences, promoting local businesses, and showcasing Columbus. Since running a local Chamber of Commerce, I have had an affinity for small businesses and helping them make valuable connections. Our trails do just that by exposing local businesses to people who can become customers, fans, and partners. I have been lucky enough in my career to work with people who have taught me valuable lessons, who have believed that I could stretch a little bit further, and who have given me grace when I've made mistakes along the way. When it comes to business, I believe you should always look for an opportunity to learn something new. And, I think you should do everything you can to leave things better than you found them. Take risks, take advice (good advice!), and every once in a while, take a vacation!In life, I believe you should love others right where they are, not where you think they should be. I also have learned to take the hard right. Doing the right thing isn't always easy. But, doing the right thing is always right.
