I've been into computers since my first pc; cobbled together from stray components and contained in a homemade wooden case. My latest build is an overclocked, water-cooled powerhouse but I'm having just as much fun using a Raspberry Pi to run my DIY, Python-based weather station.When I have half a dozen ssh command lines open reconfiguring my Cisco home lab my friends give me the same look they give my wife when she tells them how much she loves bookkeeping! Some people just don’t understand the fun of running your own RADIUS server or setting up redundant links to your wireless access points. It’s cool to have a home network that could accommodate a couple of hundred additional roommates!I enjoy being the go-to guy when something just isn’t working. I love taking on new projects and you'll never catch me without about seven things I'm working on figuring out, learning, building, experimenting! These days, aside from messing with my CCNA home lab, I’m also making beer, building wooden boats - I'm even learning to weld!I'm eager to put my knowledge and experience to work by helping people solve their IT problems. I'm currently looking for a position where I can work with an engaging team and use technology to get things done!
