Because (n) is usually an arbitrary value, and our test equipment (the FIREBERD 6000) requires the number of data bits (n) to be a number that is 104, our second objective is to find the additional number of data bits (n’) that will bring (n) to a number that is 104. Interfaced with purchasing, sales and marketing in various phases of the design cycles.- Completed project presentation for 10-month engineering assignment in Stockholm, Sweden. Presentation described my integration work on the Cello System, trouble shooting manufacturing issues that are unique to supporting the Ericsson proprietary ATM Switch architecture.- Devised a method for simulating the loss and delay of a GPS signal for the systems test group by modifying a previous design, called the Timing Distribution Board (TIDE); saved the group $40k on GPS test equipment.- Managed the lab setup for development and equipment configuration and usage, plus designed numerous different test boards for Halibut Radio Base Station development lab.- Designed the TIDE board, utilizing Lattice Semiconductor’s CPLD tools, for the ASIC development group to modify a GPS signal and split it up into four simultaneous synchronized signals to be fed into multiple ASIC prototype development stations.
