I've designed and coded web3 cryptocurrency applications for Zcash, Filecoin, Mina, etc.

I lead the design department within OB1. My energy is spread across product design, UX, branding and design strategy & leadership. I'm responsible for the design across our two applications: OpenBazaar and Haven. OpenBazaar is a decentralized marketplace using cryptocurrency. Haven is very similar, but specifically for mobile phones (Android and iOS). The bulk of my energy is spent designing the UI and fine tuning the UX within our applications. This includes managing and working closely with our designers to ensure we're producing our best work. A smaller portion of my energy is spent improving and managing our branding.In 2019, I transitioned our design team from Sketch to Figma. During this transition, we created a UI component kit for Haven, to simplify & ensure our design process is well organized.I work directly with our founders. I help with company strategy and bring creative design thinking to the leadership team.

OpenBazaar is an entirely free and open marketplace for the world to buy and sell online. It removes all fees from online transactions (no credit card fees, no listing fees, no transaction fees, etc), enables the 2.5 billion unbanked individuals from around the world to participate in online commerce for the first time and provides an open source protocol for designers and developers to build any type of commerce application on top of.
