- Guided, mentored, and coached multiple Agile teams across several departments and divisions- Introduced Agile, Scrum and Kanban to CNN while helping the department grow from one to six teams.- Co-led these teams to build a $55 million video production system, providing high-definition digital broadcast and media asset management for the world’s largest digital video workflow. This was produced over an 18-month period with virtually no overtime, a rare novelty at Turner Broadcasting. Technologies included streaming video, digital archiving, data transmission, compression, video transcoding, HDTV, QuickTime, Windows Media, MXF, IPV, cross-platform development (Macintosh/Linux/Windows), Java, and JavaScript.- Embedded and coached what was considered the most dysfunctional team, that team subsequently became widely regarded as the best, most capable team, and the software they delivered is the most trouble-free of any in years; every fulltime developer on that team received a promotion by the end of the project.- Widely regarded as a go-to person for anyone in the department to discuss career or interpersonal concerns in a safe space.
