Dr. Schwartz is a highly experienced biotechnology CEO, serving as adviser to several biotechnology and medical device companies including Theracaine, Neolight, and bioSyntagma. He holds adjunct faculty positions at San Jose State University with appointments in the Masters in Biotechnology Program, the Lucas School of Management in the Business College, and the department of Biology.     I play lead and rhythm guitar for several performing rock and roll bands in the east bay area. We play the great music from the 60's, 70's and a few from the 80's. Two bands, Scarlett Fyre and Dead Enough are Grateful Dead cover bands, playing a large repertoire of the Dead's vast catalogue, bringing their spirit, joy and karma to audiences in the area. The Help plays a wide range of old time rock and roll from the same era. All three bands perform in the area on a regular basis. I also play with other people in the area on one of basis for jams or one time performances.
