I'm a Software Engineer with more than 15 years of experience who loves to get his hands dirty. I have contributed to many different projects, like designing and leading the Costs System core module of one of the world's largest cement companies and collaborating on designing and building a cloud-native serverless application for the core business of the largest processing payroll company in the US.My current role is a mix of individual contributor/technical leader. I help my team solve technical challenges, create software components that simplify repetitive tasks, and accelerate development time. I report to a Director of Application Development who expects me to understand the business and provide feasible and reliable solutions that reduce tech debt, increase productivity, and reduce downtime.In the past, I have owned the SAP MII/UI5 practice at one of my previous companies. While building this practice from scratch, recruiting the team, defining guidelines, delivering high-quality products to our clients, I found time to contribute to the entire development process: analyzing, designing, and programming. My position demanded constant interaction with Sr. Managers and Directors to define/execute strategies across the organization.Data Science is something that captured my attention; for that reason, I started training myself in that field: Data Analyst Nanodegree, Data Scientist's Toolbox, R-Programming, Getting and Cleaning Data, Algorithmic Toolbox; it would be great to find a place where I have the opportunity to grow my data science knowledge.
