Doing things right and doing the right things Doing things right is something that was in my mind since childhood and is something I put a lot of effort in. Of course, this was driven by my subconscious mind, and found out later that this means efficiency. I got to a point where I avoided doing things that I was not sure I can do them perfectly. Of course, I’ve missed some opportunities to learn new things, but luckly I had good advisers and mentors by my side and they helped me see and understand that it's normal to make mistakes and you can learn a great deal from them. This new mindset, combined with the curiosity to learn new things helped me a lot in understanding more about how to improve my personal and professional life. I am absolutely fascinated by self-development, continuous learning, and personal performance.Being most of my career, a part of a small to medium family business allowed me to learn a lot, to have an extraordinary mentor, and to experience almost everything vertically and horizontally in the company: from junior to senior and then to expert/consultant; and from Marketing, Sales, Supply chain, Service, IT to Management. The following quote from Mr.Peter Drucker defines me quite well: “Management is doing things right. Leadership is doing the right things” To understand me better, I also followed an in-depth evaluation program: Kruger Appraisal System. Following this evaluation, I became aware of the positive aspects of myself: high native intelligence, a high degree of cognitive development, high logical, interpersonal, spatial-visual and kinesthetic intelligence, honest, sincere, devoted, responsible, motivated, analytical, organizational skills, problem solver and others. On the other hand, I also became aware of all the areas that can be improved and the incredible opportunities to get better. But why all this effort? Because I realized that with the right mindset, the right motivation, and the right methods we can do much more. I just feel there's more to get out of my potential, I feel I can stretch more, and to offer everything I've got to the right environment that supports me in improving different areas of my life. Mindset, motivation, and methods…. stretching myself to get those right.
