Worked with a diverse client portfolio:- Securities which are included in the quotation lists of MICEX;- Offshore companies;- Mining industry companies; and- Energy sector companies.Main responsibilities: planning, organization and implementation of a full range of work on the audit of financial statements, including:- Local GAAP to IFRS transformation;- Assessment and analytical review of entity’s financial performance;- Analysis of business data to identify and clearly communicate key business trends and factors;- Market and business risks assessment;- Accounting and tax advice to client staff;- Identification, analysis, and testing of the effectiveness of the controls;- Utilization of charts, graphs, and other visual aids for presentation to key stakeholders;- Discussion of adjustments and non-critical audit matters to the financial statements of the client;- Supervising, coaching and team management; Other client experience included:- Specified procedures over the Client’s Prospectus for GDR issuance on London Stock Exchange. This included review of non-IFRS measures, such as Adjusted EBITDA, Free Cash Flow, Net Debt, Net Debt/Adjusted EBITDA, Net Working Capital and Recurring Net Profit;- Profitability analysis of the audit client - the power utilities distribution company in order to confirm recoverability of deferred tax assets. This included market and regulatory framework research as well as benchmarking. As a result, deferred tax assets equivalent to 30% of total assets were written off.- Assessment of DCF models, including inputs and critical assumptions, in conjunction with the KPMG Valuation team for audit clients.
