-- Created easy to use drag and drop experience consumed by SharePoint React based web parts. Previously, the web parts used a variety of drag and drop solutions that made extensibility and maintenance difficult for engineers and the experience was inconsistent for users. Used Suspense and lazy as well as other React performance enhancing patterns to ensure a delightful user experience.-- Built prototype Microsoft Lists experiences used by design and research teams to guide and validate future UI/UX efforts described by the Fluent Design System. Originally the teams used design mockups for user studies but this limited their ability to test rich interactions in vNext features like cell editing and various scrolling experiences. The prototype provided mock data and a rich interactive environment allowing the user to explore new design implementations and give more meaningful feedback.-- Updated fit and finish on many Fluent UI React components used in a multitude of Microsoft Office and third party applications. As well as updating aesthetics per designer redlines, I incorporated some of the latest features in React and JavaScript, including hooks and ES6 features like arrow functions and template literals to keep our code base fresh.-- Addressed users’ issues and usage concerns while acting on-call engineer. I would coordinate with users and work with them directly on their code or use the feedback and reproduction steps described in their submitted Github issue to guide a bug investigation all the way to committed code on my part to remedy the issue.-- Automated Fluent UI icon font subsetter repo updating process bringing one-hour process down to five minutes. This was a very manual process that involved API calls, updating files, bumping versions, and pushing and releasing code that now can be ran with a single npm script.
