I am recent graduate with a B.S in Health Health Sciences and a minor in Spanish from DePaul University. In addition to my studies I am also a commercial actress, a former physical therapy aide, a "creative," and a dedicated servant of both my national and international communities. My devotion to serving others, according to to the Vincentian values has led to many invaluable experiences. Unquestionably, the most impactful of which have been my policy internships at home and my mission trip(s) to assess community needs, provide health services, and develop sickle cell clinics abroad. As a result of these educational experiences, I've developed skills in communication, community outreach, and leadership. My transformative travels have uniquely enlightened me on the circumstances people face, their challenges, and even their hopes and dreams; for me, they've confirmed my aspirations. My initial desire to study and heal people through medicine has metamorphosed into a passion for addressing health disparities, fixing gross systemic injustices, and fighting for global health equity.
