I have always enjoyed all things creative. From making movies, painting, drawing or writing, I always threw myself into any creative project possible. That passion for the arts has only grown stronger with age, and now that I am studying for a BA in Media and Communications, it feels like I have found my industry and community. I am currently in my final year of study, set to graduate in November 2024. Upon graduation, I hope to gain employment in the non-profit sector, where I can produce social media and digital content for organisations I care deeply about.In 2017 I travelled to Cambodia and attended seminars from ReThink Orphanages. This was my first glimpse into charity work and activism. The three days I spent learning about the corruption and profitability of third-world orphanage schemes fundamentally changed the trajectory of my life. Now, helping those in need is one of my main passions and goals in life. My career goal is to create something that will inspire others to give back and be a force for good. I strongly believe that education and knowledge are the keys to helping those in need, and I can't wait to be a small part of people's journeys.I currently work as a Store Manager for Factorie. In this role, I have been lucky enough to be able to travel with the Cotton On Foundation on an incentive trip to the Northern Territory. I have also been recognised for my contributions to team engagement, winning the company's 'You Award' for Q4 2023. I have proven myself to be a capable, reliable and strong leader, and I am immensely proud of the work I have provided and continue to provide for my workplace.
