As a writing coach for the Moody Writing Support Program, I assisted communication students in improving their journalistic pieces, essays and other writings. Specifically, I helped students with journalistic structure and AP Style.

As a staff writer at Afterglow ATX, I covered all things music. My work ranged from album reviews, to think pieces, to listicles, to playlists and much more. Much of the content I created observes music through the scope of society and culture.

As a senior sports reporter, I covered a range of Texas athletics with an emphasis on the Texas women’s basketball team. My responsibilities also included working the sports desk one night each week by editing stories and writing captions and headlines for the next day’s paper.

As a first-year interest group peer mentor, I planned a seminar each week that helped new freshmen students adjust to college and become familiar with all of the resources that UT has to offer. In addition to the administrative side of things, I also acted as a friend, a resource and familiar face to all of the students.

As a coach on T Bar M's traveling Discover 252 team, I had the privilege of traveling all around Texas for five weeks teaching kids about the Gospel of Christ through fun activities, team building, and sports.
