Current• Architected, developed (leading a team of engineers), and deployed the Sonos Developer portal. This portal is to provide a platform for 3rd party developers to integrate with the Sonos music service ecosystem. Provided solutions for a Single Sign On system following the SAML 2.0 specification. Assisted theme development for a customized Wordpress system which acted as the CMS system for the Developer Portal. Architected a deployment solution for both the CMS and RoR applications which leveraged Ansible framework to deploy both systems to the AWS cloud. Assisted in integrating both Salesforce and Zendesk systems into the Developer Portal leveraging provided APIs.• Assisted in developing CSS patterns for the Sonos Suit responsive web library. This development leveraged technologies like Foundation 5, Sass, Grunt, jQuery, and Node. • Designed and developed a Ruby on Rails application responsible for configuring and maintaining Sonos's music service configurations. This project was designed on top of an existing database and eased the use on how we configure our partner configurations by replacing intensive sql scripting with a UI layer. The project was started as a prototype during an innovation week and it gained enough traction to be fully integrated into the system. • Expanded a backend java service to incorporate new functionality that would replace configuration details that were originally kept in a static file. This new system was the first step in removing intensive manual steps required to integrate music partners into the Sonos system. This expanded technology was backed by a database making the music service logo data more configurable. AWS S3 and Cloud front integrations were also leveraged for storing and cacheing images used by Sonos software.• Developed and maintained an array of applications and services used for integrating music services with the Sonos system.
