The ACE Program is focused on pushing exceptional students to their full potential, with the hopes of preparing them as future leaders in STEM fields. The majority of ACE students achieve marks of B or better in their respective math courses.Led 10-15 students in four, weekly 1-hour discussions sections and 10 additional tutorial office hours per week, as well as, Midterm and Final Exam reviews.Courses: Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3

Created business case to justify new breakpack outbound line enhancement in a satellite distribution center and presented to Logistics Engineering and Operations Leadership.Actively managed an ergonomic processing station design and instillation project by coordinated with vendors and remote site team in order to maintain a crashed project schedule after unforeseen delays.

Created an item selection and volume estimation tool to analyze an Automated Perishable Distribution Center in the Wal-Mart Grocery Network, using Microsoft Excel and VBA. Conducted analysis, automated data importation, and created outline help guide of current Network Capacity Analysis Tool.

Freshman Engineering Program Advisory Committee • Served on a Student Services Specialist selection committee, conducted interviews, and assisted in selection process for the next Student Services Specialist. • Conducted end of the year interviews and headed the selection process for the next year’s mentoring applicants. Met individually with 15 freshmen weekly for 30 minutes and discuss various topics and situations they may have encountered. Advised and discussed topics that lead to a successful college experience; both academically and socially.

College Ambassador Training Committee • Served as the representative intermediary between the Recruiting Office, Mechanical Engineering Department, and Freshman Engineering Program.Provided campus tours to potential Graduate and Undergraduate Students, Alumni, and guest.Recruited and informed high school students/parents about the University of Arkansas and College of Engineering during college fairs and school visits.

Nanomaterials and Nanomechanics REUCreated Numerical Simulation Model of a MEMS System Micropump-based Biosensor using COMSOL Multiphysics modeling software, under University of Arkansas’ Nanomaterials and Nanomechanics graduate professor, Dr. Steve Tung.Wrote a publishable project report with NSF accreditation.
