1 Upgraded login APIs in the RESTful web service with a new security checkup logic to align with the Disney Plus login flow, added unit tests and integrate tests to cover new features, the framework is Spring Boot. 2 As a major developer, designed and implemented the account lockout function to prevent failed sign-in attempts per day. 3 Refactored Hulu login frontend project with new features on React framework, include refactoring third-party login (SSO) flow with SAML protocol and Oauth 2.0 protocol, and added unit tests (using Jest) cover new features. 4 Analyzed credential stuffing attacks in Databricks notebooks (using Apache Spark) based on Disney Plus login event data stored in the S3 bucket, summarized the credential stuffing attack characteristics, and proposed an IP rate limiting strategy to prevent the credential stuffing attacks. 5 Loaded test login services to evaluate the performance of unified authentication system between Hulu and Disney Plus platform, estimated resources necessary for different services in Super Bowl. 6 Refactored security checkup APIs and modified the GraphQL request in Scala projects based on new features. 7 Wrote a Shell script to build and publish Lua library to the repository instead of manual command operations.8 Optimized and integrated data stored path by migrating data and decreasing number of used S3 buckets.

Implemented new features in RPC based web services (framework is Spring Boot + Dubbo) and implemented frontend features on React framework. Checked data integrity and correctness in MySQL. (Include implementing or refactoring time-bucket module, time-fence module, sale-forecast module, plan-scheme module, internal-demand module, MRP-schedule-association-and-detail module.)2. Retrofitted backend project and frontend project for internationalization based on internal MDD framework, integrated internationalization into deployment by using multi-stage builds in the Dockerfile.

Equipment Operations Platform (09/2018 – 01/2019): Equipment Operations Platform is a management platform that provides equipment failure records and displays maintenance tasks and assesses and monitors the equipment status. 1). Implemented the back-end RESTful API in Java based on Spring Boot, refactored the code in report module for better legibility, and improved an API (query all data then build in the tree structure) performance, reduce 90% response time. 2). Implemented the API to export report data into the MS-Word file with a specific template (using Apache POI). 3). Upgraded Equipment Operations Platform project, migrated data from legacy database to new database.4). Implemented a scheduled task to query summary data and send it by Email (Use javax.mail) to the user. 2. Intelligent Teaching Platform (02/2019 – 10/2019): Intelligent Teaching Platform is a monitoring platform that records class processes with statistical data of listeners’ facial emotions and actions for the evaluation of teaching quality. 1). Implemented the lesson-preparation module feature in Java based on Spring Boot framework. 2). Encoded the raw video stream to H.264 format by using the FFmpeg to decrease traffic flow.
