The MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP) has announced that Edmonton is participating in its Global program, Cohort 11, launching November 2024. Over the next two years, through MIT REAP, the Edmonton team will learn and adapt the frameworks developed by MIT to accelerate innovation-driven entrepreneurship (IDE) in their region.MIT REAP is a global initiative that engages with communities around the world to supercharge IDE ecosystems and transform economies. The Global program employs an evidence-based "team" approach, translating MIT research and insights into a practical, actionable, and strategic framework that convenes and educates key stakeholders, and empowers regional leaders to drive meaningful, long-term economic and social change.MIT REAP Global teams participate in a two-year program focused on accelerating innovation-driven entrepreneurship (IDE) in their regional innovation ecosystems and are provided opportunities to collaborate with teams within and across their Cohort.MIT REAP Team Edmonton will work in conjunction with its fellow Cohort 11 teams:* Botswana* Heilbronn-Franconia, Germany* Hualien, Taiwan* Miami, Florida (USA)* Michigan (USA)* Valparaiso, ChileMIT REAP Team Edmonton also joins the program's community of more than 100 global regions, allowing them to learn from alumni Teams that have already begun to implement strategic interventions in their regional ecosystems based on the MIT REAP framework. Acting as the Canadian coordinator for the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), ECCIR facilitates international collaboration by providing market insights, matchmaking opportunities, and access to Europe’s largest business opportunities database. Its goal is to foster innovation and support the international growth of Canadian companies.I advise on all technological aspects in ECCIR facilitating the meaningful connections.

Founded in 2011, CoFoundersLab has been dedicated to assisting entrepreneurial-minded individuals in gaining access to the tools they require in order to succeed. Since then, CoFoundersLab has been the world’s largest network of entrepreneurs using technology and AI algorithms to make connections in the business world seamlessly and efficiently.I advise start-up founders through various meetings and focus sessions on their technology and product development, helping them build a roadmap of their product, their technology strategy and helping them find talented tech people and co-founders in Alberta.

Futurpreneur is a national non-profit organization in Canada that supports aspiring entrepreneurs by offering financing, mentorship, and resources to help start and grow their businesses.I mentor tech entrepreneurs at Futurpreneur, providing expertise in software development, emerging technologies, and project management. I guide them through digital transformation initiatives, help them craft effective tech strategies, and support the development of prototypes and MVPs to ensure they achieve their business goals.
