Collaborated with the pilot project team to design, implement, and assess low-cost clean water and sanitation solutions such as: rainwater catchment systems, point of use water treatment, dry composting toilets, and constructed wetlands, in rural communities throughout Chiapas, Mexico.Designed dry composting toilets and handwashing stations and completed cost proposals for a rural school, without access to reliable water sources, in Sitalá, Chiapas.Researched the interconnections between sanitation, women’s rights, human rights, childhood development, community management, and autonomy.
