In 18 years at the Ministry of the Environment and sustainable development, I had the opportunity to lead the formulation of 3 five-year national environmental action plans, an exciting and challenging experience that put me at the heart of the implementation framework with around 25 multilateral and bilateral stakeholders. I coordinated several projects with UNEP, UNDP, and the European Union in particular with hundreds of cooperation and partnership actions and activities.I have also ensured and still ensure the roles of OFP of the GEF, the NFP of IPCC, the correspondent of the CST of the UNCCD and a direct involvement in the in-depth multilateral agreements’ negotiation. At the same time, my responsibilities and my functions as a teacher-researcher have continued through my direct involvement in the direction of master’s and doctoral work. Maybe it's time to do something else in life.
