I provide leadership, direction and support to a team working towards community development, engagement and improvement.Leadership and Guidance: providing direction, guidance and support to community team members.Strategic planning: developing action plans to address identified community needs and achieve desired outcomes.Team Management: Managing day-to-day operations of the community team including workload distribution and performance management. Fostering a a positive work environment, encouraging collaboration and providing mentoring to team members.Community engagement: Building relationships with community members, stakeholders and partner organisations. Facilitating community engagement activities, organising meetings and maintaining effective communication channels.Resource management: Looking after budgets, grants and equipment ensuring their effective use in community initiatives; seeking additional funding and resources through grant applications.Evaluation and Reporting: Monitoring and evaluating the impact of community courses and programmes and preparing reports.Advocacy and collaboration; Advocating for community needs and collaborating with local government agencies, nonprofit and other community partners to address issues and influence policy changes.
