“A compassionate nurturer, a seeker of deep connection & a giver of kindness”I graduated with a Master of Arts (Counseling) degree as well as having received extensive training in Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy. I am both a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counselling. I am also an Accredited Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. My passion is to grow and develop people. I have worked as a counsellor for more than 5 years. I have helped clients and also supervise young practitioners working with clients to manage addictions, anger, anxiety, depression, work-related, self-esteem and relationship issues. My counselling approach entails harnessing the strengths within an individual, empowering them to reach their fullest potential so that the individual can thrive in life. In my practice, I employ various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy as well as coaching skills. Besides individual counselling, I have an interest to work with couples. I am also a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator. I am married with 2 young children, thus I understand parenting issues as well. Besides counselling, I am also an adjunct lecturer. I conduct wellness workshops and trainings for various schools, institutions, and faith-based organisations.
