Engine Performance and Operability Engineer

• Lead propeller design testing to optimize efficiency for Air Force applications; model parts/adapters using SolidWorks, utilize metal shop tooling for parts fabrication/modification, manage controller communications with CAN bus, process & analyse data with MATLAB• Developed and executed propeller test matrix resulting in 8% increase in overall aircraft efficiency contributing to record setting flight endurance• Support additional work in small engine (piston/turbine) optimization lab for use in small military aircraft, with focus on optimizing small internal combustion engine efficiency and power output
