Principal architect for NASA center-wide search analytics and information retrieval engine. He was responsible for configuring, implementing, and evaluating IBM Content Analytics and Rapid-Miner/Rapid Analytics data mining technologies. Developed document filtering, searching and ranking, and clustering algorithms for natural language processing applications, and extended a legacy data retrieval system for complex data types and sources.

Evaluated data platforms and developed a Hadoop interface with HDF and NETCDF atmospheric datasets for the NASA Advanced Architecture Engineering Team (AAET). Reduced mean processing time for a cloud retrieval algorithm from 179 days to 59 days using algorithm optimization and scaling technologies for ~4PB of data, and designed a job assignment schema for an automated job scheduler.
