About Myles B. Fischer

My practice is primarily focused on advising clients with respect to their estate planning, estate/trust administration, and the corresponding tax (income/gift/estate/generation-skipping transfer) related matters. I advise clients with respect to lifetime transfer planning and testamentary planning including reviewing and drafting Wills, trust agreements, beneficiary designations, operating agreements, transfer documents, etc. I advise on charitable planning, business succession planning, and asset-protection planning. My practice also covers advising on tax matters related to formation and choice of entity, tax-exempt organizations (organizational and operational matters pre/post formation), like-kind exchanges, sales and use tax, foreign asset reporting (FBAR), conservation easements, lobbying activities, matrimonial matters, executive compensation and other labor and employment tax related issues. I prepare and review gift tax returns, estate tax returns, and fiduciary income tax returns. In the estate/trust administration area, I advise fiduciaries as well as beneficiaries with respect to all proceedings in the Surrogate Court including estate and trust litigation.
