A social platform surrounding the arrangement of time between users and businesses. Throughout the 8 month process, we incubated TimeTagg with the Interactive Design program at Capilano University, working with over 20 designers and developers who helped refine the business model and define the technical & design roadmaps. Moving forward from the incubation process, we formed a founding team of three. After 8 months we built the front end of the platform, developed a brand, started building a tribe of initial users, built a technical roadmap, extensive market research and lined up strategic alliances for when the product was finished.

Excited to be the first tenant in the Zen Launchpad, I was able to exchange my services for a desk space with Cyri Jones (co-founder of Zen Launchpad). My role with the Zen Launchpad entailed managing the social channels and using Twitter and Facebook to drive offline traffic into the office space, whether that traffic was a potential community partner, investor or new tenant. I was able to play a role in bringing in new people who have turned into long term tenants and help spread awareness throughout the community.From June 2013 to February 2015 the office space has expanded into 4 separate spaces, including Zen Launchpad, Zen Makerlab, Zen Digital and Zen Lounge.

While attending the business school at Capilano University, I worked with different organizations on crafting promotional videos highlighting core messaging and value propositions. This experience provided an incredible opportunity to leverage in class learning by applying new ideas to real world experiences and by bringing real world experiences into the classroom, making my learning experience extremely interesting and relevant.The technical skills learned and improved during this time were advantageous to differentiating myself as a business student.

I love beef jerky. So much, that I attempted to start my own beef jerky distribution business while attending Cap. U. The beef jerky was sourced from a free range farm in BC that grass fed their cattle. The product was delicious, but expensive. My initial challenge was finding a customer base, I did not have a network of proven high quality beef jerky consumers within arms reach. So, my first instinct was to ask the president of the student business club (CUBES) if an entrepreneurial program existed that helped students find customers and drive awareness to back their businesses. It didn't exist. Within a week I brought samples to a meeting with the Dean of business and head of the career development office. After an exciting meeting I was granted with a budget to launch the Small Business Association (SBA) and given the opportunity to paint the Dean's house. (I was also still running my house painting business).The ensuing school year, the associations goal was to raise awareness to the student entrepreneur population amongst the student body, local community and other student entrepreneurs. The first year, I ran the association as a one man team and hosted an entrepreneur fair in the spring, showcasing a variety of current and past students businesses. The following year, I appointed a new president and the team grew to 8. Half way through the school year, it was brought to my attention that there were troubles with the SBA president's behaviour and I was tasked with stepping in to handle the affair, quickly and quietly, dismissing him from his duties and involvement with the association. We quickly came together as a team and finished the year with an extremely strong entrepreneurship fair, doubling participants and skyrocketing the guest attendance.

Hoodwinked Films is a Youtube Channel that Myles has been apart of creating which has produced several viral videos which have gotten a lot of media attention from local news stations to international recognition.

Integrating exchange students with local students to help provide students with networking opportunities and an enriched learning environment. Host and create events to ensure exchange students experience Canadian culture. The program also offers an opportunity to learn about global perceptions when it comes to business, culture and social aspects.

A local painting business servicing people's interior and exterior needs. After a school field study to China, Myles and a friend decided to work together on this endeavor for a chance to exercise their entrepreneurial skills. Operating a business and going to school has added a whole new perspective to both business and class which has ultimately enhanced the learning experience.

Myles was a host and tour guide for VIP guests from all around the world to provide them with an experience of a lifetime during the Olympic 2010 Winter Games. Not only was this experience a once in a lifetime for the guests, but also for him and it was an experience that he will never forget.
