About Myles Hamby
As newlyweds in 2012, my wife and I bought our first duplex sight unseen in Detroit while living in Kansas City when I knew nothing about real estate. In graduate school, I asked my classmates if they wanted to turn our term project into an actual real estate deal. We partnered with our professor and developed a $9 million mixed-use project that opened in 2019. My second duplex was a complete gut renovation that I bought at the city auction. We decided to add a third story, buy 6 vacant adjacent lots, and start an urban farm. Today, we sell food throughout the growing season and offer educational programming for children.When I went through a sudden job transition earlier in 2024, I took my family on a spiritual journey to Brazil for 2 months with 45-day notice and decided to start my own consulting company at the same time. While my professional skills outlined below list my experience in real estate development, project management, and business, these stories above provide additional color to who I am and what drives me.
