    Whilst at Camp Towanda I was the golf specialist for the camp, so my daily routine was preparing and delivering activity’s to the children who ranged from ages 6 to 16. I normally carried out at least two activity periods a day and was normally in charge of up to 16 children at a time. I was also responsible for small trips away to the golf course. This really helped me improve my time management and organising skills through being required to plan lessons beforehand and make sure everything was set up in time for when the activity periods would begin. Camp Towanda also helped me to work on areas such as leadership, as I was left the responsibility of caring for and teaching a group of children on a daily basis. Another strong area that I built upon during my time spent at camp was my communication skills. These were developed on a day-to-day basis through working in a different country and environment, which often involved being surrounded by many different languages. Finally I was awarded staff member of the week by fellow staff. This was due to not only taking on my own responsibilities and golf sessions but also taking the time to help other team members with organization and preparation in their sessions when help was required.
