About Myles L. Lynch
My research is focused on investigating social and ecological factors which impact outdoor recreation experience. My aim is to understand motivational factors associated with recreation such as: access, cost, crowding, displacement, park management, and conflict. I also investigate the psychological components of creativity and motivation among youth and adolescents in outdoor recreation programs (i.e. summer camp). My larger goal is to promote meaningful and accessible outdoor recreation experiences.
