Global City - Ho Chi Minh, VietnamThe Global City will be a diverse and sophisticated neighbourhood, integrating a full range of facilities for a future downtown city alongside residential units. The giga development, located in An Phu ward, Thu Duc city boasts excellent connectivity with easy access to highways, major roads, metro lines. The masterplan comprised of 117,4-hectares, including high-rise and low-rise apartments, villas and social housing, schools, medical and administration facilities, a 125,000sqm grade-A shopping mall and other amenities to create a sustainable, mixed-use community. The designs prioritised landscape and biodiversity, connectivity and social urbanism were the priorities, with an innovative and sustainable design approach. Red Sea Airport - Saudi ArabiaDesign and planning of a luxury airport located on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. The project called for a novel and innovative approach to the experience of an airport focusing on how to improve passenger experience. Similarly in planning the airport we strove to challenge aspects of the support facilities to create a beautiful and unified architectural experience from the control tower and administration to hangars and cargo warehouses.Pitt Street ISD - Sydney, AustraliaThe design of an integrated over station development at Pitt Street Station. The role involved dealing with complicated DCP and environmental controls, maximising development value and design excellence whilst delivering in a fast paced programme. It also encompassed co-managing a large team and mentoring of employees, coordination on site and remotely.

Sydney Metro - Barangaroo - Sydney, AustraliaDesign of the ground plane for the Barangaroo Reserve entry for the station, landscaping and masterplanning. Role included concept design for numerous entries strategies on a highly sensitive site for Sydney.Sydney Metro - Crows Nest - Sydney, AustraliaDesign of a new city centre underground station and integrated over station development comprising two residential towers and a hotel.Sydney Metro - Gadigal Station / Pitt Street Station - Sydney, AustraliaDesign of a new city centre underground station (one of five) on a complex site along with over site development utilising a systemwide kit of parts and design principles. Role encompassed progression the design from scheme to FPD for use as reference design and running a flexible team on a highly coordinated BIM scheme.Cardiff Interchange - Cardiff, UKThe mixed use redevelopment of the central bus station in Cardiff, connecting it to the soon to be updated railway station.Jeddah Metro - Jeddah, Saudi ArabiOld Makkah Road terminus station, one of 4 special stations set to become urban regeneration nodes throughout Saudi Arabia's second city.BBC Wales - Cardiff, UKCommercial and cultural development at the heart of Cardiff's regeneration masterplan for the city centre.

Work on various projects of which the most prominent is the Architecture School (NCL ARC) design year book. Alongside this I have been invited to attend end of project crits for 2nd years. My intention is to target more opportunities in teaching as I have found the experience highly useful and important in my own development.

Project 01: Grunekreuz - West BerlinDescription: A masterplanning project that focused on engineering, policy and infrastructure, in West Berlin that responded to population displacement, employment and educational demands, and a lack of future planning to break cycle of gentrification and decay. The underused overpasses of Westkreuz which divide the ICC Messe and a number of neighbourhoods, would be re-purposed as elevated, living causeways where linear villages could develop, including homes, parks, schools and shops. This would be centred around an educational and industrial institution at the heart of the mesh of roads, creating a new thriving community, that would grow along these routes into surrounding areas, reconnecting and reinvigorating local spaces.Project 02: Cultivating Heritage - Reivaulx AbbeyDescription: An intervention in Reivaulx Abbey to restore life to the ruins. Tracing patterns of use before its dissolution whereby monks cultivated the landscape in carefully arranged and run granges and farms, a seed vault and horticultural science centre will be sited in the heart of the ruins, providing a contrasting programme to the ancient stone enclosure. Mirroring patterns of the past, scientist will operate in the ruin, cultivating plants of the British Isles and storing them for safe keeping and research in partnership with the Millennium Seed Vault. Project 03: Research - Fabricating KnowledgeDescription: Research project that sought to define how we create and retain knowledge in architectural education. This research was conducted in the context of the eponymous workshop, where thinking met creation of artifacts, physical repositories of knowledge of a process. This resulted in a number of implementations in the workshop to make use of this research. To be published in Plus Journal in 2015.

Budget constraints required a creative approach to reinvigorating the space without structural intervention.Role: Project leader, cost engineering, concept design, interior design, engineering, programmatic developmentFoxton Race ClubRebuilding of the race track facilities after an arson attack.
