Write, edit and disseminate communication materials for I-CARES’ initiatives. Responsible for content management of I-CARES website, bi-annual newsletter, production of event flyers/notices, working with designers/photographers/vendors on the update of I-CARES brochure, etc. Develop communications and marketing material.Provide institutional support between schools, partners and collaborators in developing and implementing events, workshops, courses and meetings. Work as part of I-CARES team on the development and conduct of other strategic activities, including, conferences, large-scale grant applications, community outreach, annual Call for Proposals, and other such initiatives. Write and/or edit materials for research grant applications, edit scientific content for readability and adherence to guidelines, and draft documents such as marketing materials.Coordinate and support the I-CARES Distinguished Speaker Seminar Series, and other seminars/lectures. This includes identifying, researching and recommending potential speakers, working with speakers on travel logistics, presentation needs, receptions and other details. It also includes communications with the I-CARES community about the event and creating flyers and other marketing materials.
