Recently I picked up where I left off many years ago. I resumed my college education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Studies and certificates in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Human Services. I was a stay-at-home mom for 34 years and raised five great children. While running a household, I also helped my husband run our swimming pool and landscaping business. Much of what I know and what I can do I learned by being a mother. Being a mother has by far been my best work. Motherhood has given me a love and appreciation for life like nothing else. It has made me the person I am today. Between motherhood and running an office, I have developed many skills that make me a well-rounded person. I am outgoing, friendly, a people person, very organized, can multitask efficiently, and have good communication and customer service skills. All of this would make me a good fit in the hospitality industry. Meeting people, traveling, and trip-planning is my passion. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This is a new journey for me!
