My current work at Columbia University’s Center for Palestine Studies has provided me with a thorough introduction to the digital archiving of historical manuscripts. My responsibilities include managing and uploading rare, century-old Palestinian publications onto the CPS website, creating academic resources for scholars studying the region. Additionally, I provide assistance in the research and development of academic projects on Palestine.

Working as a Podcast Intern for The Laura Flanders Show has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how a podcast is produced, the kind teamwork needed to create a successful show, and the fundraising strategies required to keep a podcast running smoothly. My responsibilities include copy editing scripts, researching potential ad sponsors, and creating spreadsheets. I also perform social media upkeep.

At 8 Ball Radio I am responsible for being on-call every Friday, which includes working in the studio, making sure hosts arrive on time for their shows, managing the radio's email and social media posts, and creating flyers for shows and upcoming events. I also assist with setting up the radio stall/set at different event venues.

My time as a volunteer radio reported for WGCX marked my first thorough introduction to the field of radio news media. There, I was responsible for producing segments on local politics and culture in the Hudson Valley. I also co-hosted the station's afternoon talk show where my partner, Kiran, and I would discuss everything from the rising trends of gentrification in the area, local and national news, and farming practices. During this time I also became competent in Audacity, which I still use to edit and produce all my work.

In February of 2017 I began working at the Arab American Family Support Center as a teacher’s aide helping to facilitate a large group of female, adult learners with basic English literacy as well as leading classes of individuals working towards passing their US Naturalization exam.

During my time at 826, I was responsible for helping students with specific creative writing assignments, assembling chapbooks and portfolios of students’ work, leading group discussions about the topics covered in class, and facilitating open and safe workshops of students’ writing.

My time at PEN: America afforded me experience in the field of human rights advocacy as well as allowed me to hone my skills in proof reading and fact-checking submissions for the PEN Journal, assembling chapbooks through InDesign, transcribing talks and interviews, and clerical work.

During my sophomore year at Bard College, myself and a group of friends began YST, Bard's first student-run, experimental poetry collective. It was a space where artists from all walks could come together and celebrate the work of their peers. As editor-and-chief, I was responsible for selecting and proofreading submissions for YST's quarterly issues. Additionally, I helped with social media publicity as well as hosted poetry readings, issue release events, and constructing our print publications using Adobe InDesign.

During the summer of 2015, I spent two months working on Bard's on-campus organic farm where myself and a group of peers harvested, washed, and sold vegetables to local restaurants and the college cafeteria. Additionally, we hosted school visits to the farm, and cooked for students attending Bard summer programs.

At Station Hill Press, my responsibilities ranged from performing clerical work to organizing the press's inventory of books, acting as an author liaison, and fundraising.

As a summer intern at Poets House, I was responsible for a range of administrative tasks, reorganizing the library in alphabetical order, leading school visits, as well as hosting writing workshops for 6th-8th graders and reading sessions in children's room

- Packing food rations and pharmaceutical supplies for 500 families fleeing Iraq and Syria- Modernizing orginization's database by converting hard copy files of refugee families into electronic format (Excel)- Organizing medical inventory of onsite treatment center.
